2006 was a busy, productive year for Saturnia Stables. We've developed and settled in to our second training facility which is located in the heart of Kentucky Bluegrass in Lexington. In addition to experiencing the advantages of living in "The Horse Capital of the World", struck by the similarities between rural Kentucky and Mario Adriani's native Tuscany, we've planted 5 acres of vineyard of San Giovese and pino gris grapes.
In November we shared the arrival of our Olio Novo, Early Harvest Tuscan olive oil with a harvest celebration themed "Kentucky/Tuscany—a matter of taste"
New additions to the family include Mia, a beguiling though troublesome golden retriever puppy and two foals, Coco Clay (Click on Clay - Madison Avenue) and Jocetta, 2006 Premium Filly (Joe Cocker- Forcetta)
We're enjoying proximity to the Kentucky Horse Park and the array of events that it hosts and are particularly looking forward to the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games.
